Let me introduce our black beauty and queen of the house, Vixi Viki Dar Tibetu. She came to us October 2014 from Czech Republic when she was 4 months old puppy. I fell in love with her right away. I have dreamed about a black Lhasa Apso bitch for as long as I have ever wanted a lhasa and now I finally got her.

When her breeder Eliska Vaskova, kennel Dar Tibetu, posted pictures of her newly born litter with several black puppies, I became very excited. I found out that the pedigree was great and I knew I had to ask if I could buy a puppy from this litter. Unfortunately there was only one bitch puppy and I was sure Eliska wanted to keep her. I loved the boys too, especially Valiant, but for our situation a bitch puppy suited better.
I was so happy when I saw Eliska at the Helsinki World Dog Show 2014 and she told me the good news I could have the little black girl.

Of course the colour wasn’t the reason I wanted a puppy from this particular litter. Eliska has been kind to lend us two very special boys for us for breeding. Because our breeding is so small scale, I couldn’t breed so many bitches to these boys and somehow couldn’t keep all the promising puppies. That’s why I wanted to have more of their blood in my breeding program.

The sire of Vixi is BISS CIB Multi Ch. Talisman Dar Tibetu. He is a nice black boy with excellent size, outine, angulations, body and absolutely fantastic character. I love him so much! His parents were also really fantastic lhasas, his sire had the longest and best angulated forearms I have ever seen in a lhasa. And that showed in his movement even when he was a very old dog when I saw him.

The dam of Vixi is the sweet Tracy, CIB Multi Ch. Electra Dar Tibetu, who herself has been very successful in show rings (for example she won her class in Crufts 2011). She has got very nice puppies in her previous litter with our Fred (BISS CIB Multi Ch. Kai-La-Sha Fire Power), where there’s several champions and even BIS- and BIG-placements. I had a feeling that if she did so well with Fred, she can do really well with Talisman too.

The sire of Tracy is BISS CIB Multi Ch. Simbad Del Alcazar. Simbad has many wonderful offsprings in Europe and he is very handsome and playful lhasa boy. He visited us during winter time 2011 – 2012 and we got two litters after him. Multi Ch. Yarmilan Smell the Magic is one of his puppies.

Vixi became a champion very easily as soon as she turned the required age 2 years old. She is the ideal sized lhasa lady, 24 cm, is very balanced in every way. She has the most beautiful head and expression, excellent neck, balanced angulations, body, loin and tail carriage.

Vixi has had her first litter with our Fred. There were 6 handsome boys, 3 cremes, 2 reds and one black & white.
